We need your support

Charlton Toy Library is not part of Greenwich Council or any Leisure Library. It is an independent voluntary group which has to secure its own funding. That’s why fundraising is a vital part of the Toy Library’s day to day running. You will always find us selling new and used toys, organising cake sales and holding raffles.

There are many ways you can help us:

Donating money

We’ve setup a Virgin Money Giving  account to make it simple and secure for you to send online donations. It is simple and easy to use and only takes a couple of minutes , you can pay with your credit card without registering. Just click on the “Donate” button on the right sidebar and follow the steps. It’s very easy to do, even if you haven’t done it before!

Alternatively, you could send us a cheque by post or you could visit us and make a donation in person.

Call us or send us an e-mail charltontoylibrary@googlemail.com
for more information.

Donating toys and other items

  • Unwanted Christmas or birthday presents.
  • New or used toys.
  • Toilet rolls.
  • Kitchen/toilet cleaner, anti-bacterial wipes.
  • Money

Gift AID

Gift Aid is a system whereby the Toy Library can claim back, from the Government, the income tax you have paid on the money that you used to pay for your family membership fees and other donations.

On a  membership fee of £12.00 we can claim an extra £2,50 !

It is very simple. All you have to do is let us know by phone, email or post whether your family paid income tax back to 5th April 2003.

All we need to know is your child’s name and membership number if you know it, and the full name of the person who pays income tax along with your full address. Let us know which tax years we can claim for. It couldnt be easier and your toy library desperately needs this.

PLEASE support your Toy Library. REMEMBER we are not part of Greenwich Council.
We are an Independent Voluntary Charitable Organisation.
