Come along and meet your local Firefighters with their appliance , your children will be able to climb aboard the engine and water the park with the help of the firemen .  Our local community police will also be attending and will help out with stranger danger questions and general safety .

We will have items of safety equipement on display and a few freebies too

Another  big thank you to all who attended the A.G.M . There is still time to become a committee  member , we always need help with organising fundraising events,  sourcing funding, or helping out at sessions, if you cannot help  on the committee , you may want to become a volunteer or know someone who wants to volunteer , so please  tell them about us.

Gift AID

Gift Aid is a system whereby the Toy Library can claim back, from the Government, the income tax you have paid on the money that you used to pay for your family membership fees and other donations.

On a  membership fee of £12.00 we can claim an extra £2,50 !

It is very simple. All you have to do is let us know by phone, email or post whether your family paid income tax back to 5th April 2003.

All we need to know is your child’s name and membership number if you know it, and the full name of the person who pays income tax along with your full address. Let us know which tax years we can claim for. It couldnt be easier and your toy library desperately needs this.

We have been awarded a thousand pounds from O2 its your community for new toys.

The presentation of the cheque was on Thursday 18th September in the Toy Library. The event was attended by The Mayor and Mayoress of Greenwich, Jim Stevenson o2 , the management committee, and toy library members .

nding the money. So as soon as we have catalouged all the new stock you will see it on the shelves and on the van.
